The first thing I have to say is this: I mean to disrespect, nor offend, nobody. I am simply a 15 year old girl, I’m just speaking my mind. I’m trying to get my voice out there, not to anybody in specific, but just somebody.

I have decided to blog about relationships, and young people because of recent events and concerns.

Do not value my opinion or word above your own unless you truly think that what I’m saying is valid. What everybody has to say is important. Not one above the other.

RELATIONSHIPS

Showing how you feel about someone is not always a difficult thing, but in today’s world it is often portrayed incorrectly. If you “love” someone, that doesn’t mean you have to have sex with them, and that’s the only way. No.

Not to get a little awkward and possibly graphic, but you don’t show your friends or family how much you love them by having sex with them.. do you? I hope not!!!

Love is shown by simple and small gestures that you do on a day to day basis. Never rush a relationship. Often people say..

Great things take time.

Not only do great things take time,

it happens in small and unnoticeable amounts.

SEX

Sex doesn’t show a thing except that you don’t know how to handle yourself, or your emotions: this is how your immaturity shows. The first time you have sex with someone, it is a bond. It’s a special moment and experience. So why not share that with the person you care most about: your spouse?

I’m not saying “GET MARRIED NOW SO YOU CAN HAVE SEX!!” No (: But nice try!

People of all ages should be comfortable sharing extended amounts of information. Don’t go around telling whomever just anything! Respect yourself by keeping your personal information to yourself.

PICTURES

Whether it be snapchatting, or just sending inappropriate pictures to people, think first!
If my parents saw this, would I get in trouble? Would I feel ashamed?

If you answer yes, don’t do it.. But if you really don’t care, think about this:
Do you think it’d be better for someone to see you in a picture or in person? If you think person, do you really think you’d be comfortable showing somebody your body? Do you completely trust them? Do you think you always will.. enough to have them not tell anybody.

Be careful who you trust, the devil was once an angel.

Think before you act, things never go away, and memories don’t get erased.

They’re just filed away for a later time.

Alas, the fearful unbelief is unbelief in yourself.

We are driven with expectation, desire to be happy and be proud of. We get our love and self-esteem from others, but not without degrading ourselves.

Be who you are, not who anybody wants you to be. For one day, the person that was intended for you will no longer want you, because you are not you anymore.
